sir my client from village area and some one registered his ITfiling account earlier but he forget all the details and even bank account no. entered by him in the account also shows wrong I tried all the options available on the site but I am unable toget the new password...sir how to recover his forgot password to file the income tax return. I am already emailed validate @ incometaxefiling.co.in
but dosent get the response...pls help

u can create challan Rs 20 ...then reset password
you can get help from jurisdictional AO... contact them

u can create challan Rs 20 ...then reset password.
you cannot reset password by paying challan. You can reset password by using TDS or TCS details only.

but I don't have the details regarding tds and tcs then what to do

If you have forgotten your Secret Questions, Registered Mobile No. & Email ID, you can reset Income Tax Efiling Password by following methods :
- Use Aadhaar OTP Method (if you are not getting Aadhaar OTP on his mobile, you can request your client to change his registered mobile no with UIDAI, it takes 4-7 days only)
- Get a new DSC for your client and use DSC Method
- Contact Jurisdictional AO
To get Aadhaar OTP Aadhaar must be linked. If not you won't get Aadhaar OTP even if you change mobile number.
