Foreign tax credit in form 67

Apart from filing Form 67, you need to mention the FTC amount in the ITR. Once the return is processed and if everything is found in order, the AO will grant the FTC. However, he may ask for additional information (say supporting of payment of taxes in overseas country) before granting the FTC. Thus, you will need to wait till the completion of assessment / expiry of time period for scrutiny selection.
