one of my client filed their Income tax returns, he received notice for excess income booked in 26as.
Matter is that their total Income for this year is 5 lac but in 26as is 11lac. excess amount is for ay2018-19 and services tax also paid in ay2018-19 wrongly deducter has filed in ay 2017-18.
now,what I do?

You immediately contact the party who deducted the TDS and request to correct this AY error. your problem will be resolved automatically upon his revising TDS return. You then have to download 26AS afresh.
