We have imported goods from foreign countries on FOB basis
For FOB purchases we have paid ocean freight.This ocean fright we debited to ocean freight account head.
But my query is , it is a part and parcel of material cost.Hence it is to be debited to material cost, other wise it is not reflected to purchases turnover. It is correct ?
