Hi, first of all let it know that this time there is also a oppurtunity that this time exms are postponed, exams are from 26th may in this way there is about 25 days extra available for study.

I think may attempt is more benificial fr IInd group bcoz there are a lot of  ammendments which covers abt 30 marks, also there is huge amendments in isca and idt isca is also to be changed from nov 14, in this manner 3 papers dt, idt, isca should be focused for may exmas rest one costing it is practical and can be covered with practise.

so far as grp I is concerned u can opt for studying only law for getting exemption so that it will not to be studied in nov.

So i think you should go for grp II with law to be prepared for exemption

it is my observation, rest depends on you.

Thanks

I will go for both grups only but will concentrate on one grup. As far as II grp is concerned, it seems easy to me but I alwazz get puzzled during exams in costing n dt.. This time I dnt want to take any risk. Any how atleast want to clear one grup ds time.. n if I have luck then I can clear both grups too.

Exemption in law- I knw m nt at all good in theory sbjcts.. ISCA - i can manage sumhow for exmptn.

I knw that Sir.. N for this reason only I wil give all the papers but wdout preparing for other 3 papers wd thorogh stdy. Like If i give frst grup whole n ISCA on II grups.. then coting, dt, idt i can prepare on last moment by studying all the amndmnts, case laws n theory.

Seriously.. m feeling like good for nothing in earning terms.. Life is divided into may n nov only.. we can earn in our age for our family.. bt see.. coz of these failures i cant do anything for my family. If I join anywhr.. then prob is for leaves only for exams.

Go for both the groups. Chances of getting passed or exemption out of all subjects are more.... now u have extra time coz of postponment of exam.. so give both groups..

it'll be my 7th innings of ca final career this may....so based on my personal xp, i STRONGLY suggest u to go with Grp-1 + isca...looking at the current trend, i dont think icai will up the %, may be say 6 to 10%...since u r planning for a job, always focus on ONE grp ONLY...coz i too was working abroad but cudnt manage both....so i quit just only to clear finals....

To get exemption ib isca u hav to appear for both groups. Dont know exactly for final but my friend gave exams obly for audit in ipcc and got 63 but was not eligible for exemption. So first confirm it that u ll eligible or not .

Exemption will come only if student appeared in all exams of that group . .
