there is no such specific time limit for holding first board meeting of the company..........only see that the provisions of section 285 i.e holding atleast one board meeting in every quarter is met with.

There is no specific provision as regards time limit for holding of first BM. But the first auditors of the Company has to be appointd by the BOD within one month from the date of incorpn. Further, the First BOD has to be held as early as possible since the MOA, AOA, Common seal, etc has to be noted and approved and various preliminary resolutions has to be passed so that the company can commence operations.
