is there any restriction under any law as to whether a partnership firm can/cannot become a partner in another firm?
if so, then which law/act?

Really the world is very small.
I discussed the same point with a friend today. Our Conclusion A partnership can not b a partner as it does not have any separate legal entity. Waiting for more replies...
