please explain with help of example the difference between financial year, preceding financial year and immediately preceding financial year

Say, for Financial year.... 2018-19
Immediately preceeding FY...... 2017-18
Preceedding FY........ can be any FY 2017-18 or even earlier.... say 2016-17, 2015-16..etc..
