Please let me know J (p) Limited got 48 % equity in M (p) Ltd on 30.03.2017 . for F.y 31.03.2017 whether Consolidated balance sheet will be made of Jain (p) Ltd as per AS 21 or only in balance sheet of J (p) Limited investment in M (p) Ltd with goodwill/capital Reserve will be shown.

consolidation of "associate company" was exempt till fy ending 31.03.2016.. thereafter, consolidation of associate company shall be made and same methodology of subsidiary consolidation shall be followed..
