In the questionof Calculation of PC there was said that 2shares & in Brackets was said Valued at 15/-) then What is the No of Eq Shares & Pref Shares.of Sun Given to Moon. & also what does that 15 mean. 15/- of rone share value or 15/- is the value of 2 shares

Dear Praful,
As per question 3, The purchase consideration is :
For every 5 shares held in Moom Ltd
1) Cash of Rs 5 for each share : 5 * 5 = 25
2) 2 equity shares each valued at Rs 15 (15*2) = 30
3) One prefrence share of Rs 10 each = 10
Total Value 65
This total value can be confirmed with the value of cash given for fractional shares also.
If you have any book of previous examination question you can definately find this type of question, probably with very similar figures.
