RAWAT for Financial Reporting??
Hope You meant Accounting Standards.
Rawat is the best book for Accounting Standards.
You need advanced knowledge of AS for exams and Your Future;which makes Rawat the No.1 choice.

Any Time...:)
For Financial Reporting my First prefernce would be P.C Tulsian
For AS,it would be Rawat.
Financial Reporting my second pref would be M.P Vijaykumar.
But do keep in mind that some answers in MPV may not match with the answers in ICAI modules or Rtp or compilations
I'm not saying Vijay Kumar sir's answers are wrong...Its just that the assumptions taken are different..But You get marks only if you get ICAI's answers. If the qn is lifted from study mat ,i'm pretty sure the answer key would be based on what is given in Study Mat..Ultimately your aim is to cross the magical figure of "40".
I'm saying this out of my own experience.

Anil
