Financial managment for pcc/ipcc level

How should I study - NET INCOME APPROACH , NET OPERATING INCOME APPROACH , MM APPROACH ?

only Theory or Practical Sums ?  So far I know , in ICAI Exams - the above topics are not commonly found .
