Though i have passed out CA-IPCC i could not know for which financial year a finance act applies?
for ex > for which previous year does Finance act 2012 applies..I tried many friends o f mine but They are as confused as me . so someone help me out by giving clear cut explanation.

Finance Act 2012 meant for the Financial Year 2012-13 (P.Y 2012-13 & A.Y 2013-14). Sources read budget speach 2012.
