hello ...

i heard now pcc students are also writing their final exam during the last six month of articleship. some students have already written the exam it seems. is it true?????????

but i didnt find any notification about the same. only in IPCC prospectus its given that even pcc student can write their final exam in during the last six month of the articlesip

please tell if you know any one written the exam before six month of articleship completion ............

There is not any official announcement from Institute.

Most of the time u updated us by posting mail received from Institute to you regarding.

no official info about this.......

i asked one senior counsil memeber and he say that possibilities are very remote as it is takes so much time.

i dont know if anyone has given exam. even i also belive that icai does not have enough machinery to findout if some one have done so.

As there is no official communication from ICAI, dont take this granted. Dont believe on rumours. And in my opinion there is no such announcement from ICAI.

IT IS ON ICAI TO INFORM STUDENTS WHO ARE LIKELY TO GET AFFECTED BY CHANGES IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN CA COURSE AND THEREFORE, IN MY OPINION PCC STUDENTS CANT WRITE EXAM DURING LAST SIX MONTHS TILL THE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION COMES.

As there is no official communication from ICAI, dont take things as such. In my opinion there is no such announcement from ICAI. There is no possibility at all.

Any how I will do one thing, I will check with my friend who is in Articleship and also going to write May 2010 Exam Final. Hopefully she may be able to help.

I think there is not such notification or announcement , but PCC students should also be allowed to write the exams in last six months of articleship as IPCC students are allowed , but if the Institute is gonna allow it the announcement should come as early as possible so the students can prepare accordingly.

Just go through the announcement posted by institute on 22/02/2009. In that they said that PE II students converted to PCC can writed exam only after completing articleship including excess leave.

It indirectly mean that there are no any provision for writing exam before six month of completion of articleship yet.

The notification:

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS FINAL EXAMINATON - MAY 2010

It is hereby notified for information of the students who had switched over from -

Professional Educational II Course to Professional Competence Course,

PE-II course to Professional Competence Course (PCC) after passing either of the group of PE II and

The students of PE II who have joined the course on the basis of their degree examination and switched over to PCC after discontinuance of PE II

may apply for May 2010 subject to completion of their articled training period before 30th of April 2010 (including excess leave, any).

Such candidates who have switched over to PCC as mentioned above, are requested to fill in form A (OMR) application form column 8a category II where candidate will be completing 3 years( read as 3 ½ years) of training before 30th April 2010 or as applicable in their case and column No. 10 under PEE II passing details.

In form B column 9 – status of completion of articled training – the candidates may fill against category II or as applicable after making correction in the text. In column 11, passing details of PCE may be given by making correction in the text. In the certificate of Service, serial no.2 may be filled in after making necessary corrections.

The above details will be validated from the data of the institute and the candidates falling under the above said categories will be informed by 1st April 2010 in case of any doubt in respect of their eligibility for final examination of May 2010.
