Final attempt eligibility for ipcc students

ooohhh god.. this is so confusing.. two contradicting links on ICAI website itslf..!!

I searched there is no such notification on the ICAI site. Please provide with the proper link or else dont spread rumours.

I completed my IPCC in may 2012,i started my articleship 30 oct,2012.Tell me my eligibility for ca Final.

I had posted an query at esahayta and just got their reply which states that IPCC students can give exams only in last 6months of their articleship training.

I am a IPCC student,cleared both the groups &  started my articleship in Aug 2012. Can anyone clearly tell me when is my final attempt?? NOV- 2014 or MAY-2015.

There are difference of opinion regarding eligibility i.e 2 years & 2 1/2 years. which one is applicable for me.

Vijaya in your case it is may 2015 attempt, may'15 will be your first attmpt of final according to your articleship registration ! for sure.

Srilakshmi you will be eligible for may'2015 attempt of final ! 
Becoz uahve registered yourself on or before 30th of october, and you would be completing your 2.5 years of training well before your may 2015 attempt and is eligible for the same !

I have cleared ipcc in may 2013(both groups). I started my articleship on 15th October 2013 and took transfer on 2nd march 2014 and i am joining another firm on 18th march 2014... So what would be my final ca attempt??? please reply as early as possible. thankyou in advance..I think my attempt would be may 2016. Please correct if i m wrong

May 2016 Attempt and onwards as per your registration into Articles  !

what if my re-registration get delayed by 2-3 days??? will my attempt get delayed???

due to some reasons the firm couldn't appoint me before 18th march 2014..so what should i do now . i requested them to complete registration by 14th march but i didn't succeed. It's a big firm so they dont allow us to speak with the hr person and it's closed on saturdays and will b closed on monday as well because of holi and they wont manipulate the dates. so, if they delay procedures for another 2-3 days will it affect my final attempt??? do reply.

Hi, I am from the direct entry scheme of ICAI in which a student can start the articleship before appearing for IPCC. I have cleared TY.BCom in 2011 and started for Articleship on 26th November, 2012. I appeared for IPCC in November 2013 and cleared both groups. So acording to the new notification of eligibility of Final attempt affter 2 years, am I eligible for May 2015 attempt as I am completing my 2 years and 5 months of articleship on the date of exam i.e May 2015.
