HI BUDDIES I M YOGESH FROM JAIPUR. MY ARTICALSHIP IS COMPLETING IN JAN 2011. CAN I APPEAR IN NOVEMBER 2010 EXAMS. AND ANYBODY CAN TELL THAT HOW LEAVE FOR PCC EXAMS AND B.COM EXAMS ARE TREATED FOR CALCULATION OF TRAINING PERIOD. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Hi Yogesh, as ur articleship ends in Jan.'11...., next attempt is MAY'11...
So, ur is that attempt, u r not eligible for NOV. 10....
Moreover, i think some 5-6 months leave is allowed by ICAI in our 3.5 years articleship.., thats legal..
Now, u can take this leav for either PCE or FINALS, or any combination lik 2 months for PCE and 4 for FINALS or 3 months during ur PCE and rest 3 for FINALS.....
As such, ICAI does not allow u to take any leave for ur b.com or any other course exams,... If u take that, that will be counted and so u'll have to pay those leaves after completion of ur articleship... But if u take such leave from the alloted leave of 6 months, i dnt think ICAI will mind it, as u've been allotted 6 months leav, if u can adjust wid it, its wwll & fine..
