so in nutshell,
CA's have a UPPER hand over MBA's
i think with we ca's learning the art of communication and presentation tactis can now easily compute with MBA's
but still each one has got its own area of expertise

What you wanna "compute" with MBA's Mr. Nikhil...??
CA's still have to improve a lot to be at par with good MBA's... As far as communication skills are concerned.
In case of knowledge the CA's do have upper hand but they mostly lack in communication skills,which is must for an executive or administrator. The success of business depends upon interactive and decision making skills,awareness about the business environment is also most,but students doing CA mostly remain out of the touch of current affairs and developments in business world, hence they cannot be good decision makers and cannot form effective strategies for the success of the business.
We can conclude that they both are good in their own fields.

Mr.Vasiullah , chance of improvement is always there. but let me remind ca's have really raiesd there level - the OT,GMCS prog. are all made compulsory only to make a entractive CA
things are not like before, where mba's were much superior in communcating............ca's now have both bag full of knowledge, interaction skill, decision making power, awareness with world affairs
we are not lacking at all.............we have enriched our various skills
also.....ple. read my upper comment i have already said that still each one has its own expertise........as individual differences are always present!

12. communication skills - Definately MBA's are way ahead of CA's.
13. Presentaion skills - The more persuasively u communicate goes a long way in enhanced presentaion skills

Well, I do agree to some extent, only CA's who have done their graduation in regular good colleges or those coming from convent background posses good communication skills, 15 or a months orientation programme cannot change you overnight!!!
There's no such word as Enteractive...........

may be it may not provide all in 1month, but one thing is for sure that it will surely plant a tree of communication and presentation skills..................and the further growth should be the duty of individual
also, the society , the environment, internet generation we live in makes a person able and competent to interact..!

First of all I would emphasise on the fact that CA is a TECHNICAL degree,whereas MBA is done as an add on degree with an already possessed. If u talk about IIMs,this years intake has 84% engineers. And ISB is a class apart as the "students" are themselves well established in their own fields,otherwise who would fetch out 28lacs for an MBA degree,so their knowledge is already at upper levels. MBA hones ur skills,whereas CA "gives" you the knowledge,so no need to fight,jab kuch ban jaenge then is the right tym to draw the swords...

ONLY ONE PERSON CAN ELOBARATE EXACTLY WHICH IS UTMOST BEST.. ONE WHO COMPLETED BOTH " CA AND MBA".. BOTH HAS ITS OWN RECOGNIZATION.
MAY BE IN FUTURE SOME MBA SUBJECTS WILL BE JUMPED INTO CA..
