I understand that in view of COVID- 19 pandemic, Telengana IT Bar Association moved recently to Finance Ministry for further extension of time limit for filing IT return for AY 2019-20. Is there any development?

There is no further extention notification/release up to dates. As of now, Last date is 31st July, 2020 only.
