30 June 2014I have a query relating to which return form to use. If exempt income exceeds rupees 5000, the assessee is required to fill ITR-2 intead of ITR-1. I want to know which exempt incomes are covered under this rule?

Itr 2 covern salary income, Other siurces Interest. and House property...so exemption from these heads of income....

So this exempt income will also include exemptions under hra. ltc etc. in addition to dividend income, ppf interest etc.
