Filing of Form 3CEB

Tax queries 7968 views 9 replies

Hi,

For the current year's 'filing of Form 3CEB', I have a query. Is it going to be filed with the respective Income-tax circle or to be posted to CPU, Bangalore as per the recent CBDT's circular. Appreciate your quick response.

what's this "Form 3CEB"? Is it Form 3CB? You are not required to submit it anywhere. Only return is required to be submitted. No Documents are required to be attached and for e-filing returns (Tax Audit  or Companies) , you are required to submit ITR-V to Bangalore Office only if the return is not digitally signed, in the case it is digitally signed, you are not required to submit it.

Hi, Thanks for your response. 3CEB is the Form for "Transfer Pricing" certificate.

hi, no  you have  to submit 3  ceb  as  per  circular no. 3  issued  by  CDBT .You can  find  it  out  from IT website under  circulars

Not required to file along with return of income, the form is to be required uder section 44AB of the income tax act 1961in connection Tax audit this has to keep with the assesse and same to be submited as and when required by the department

it means, that we don't need to file this form 3CEB ? very surprising, then why this is made for, if we will not submit it to deparment, a lots of manupulation can be done in this case. i think so.

Also Audit Report is not filed anywhere except sales tax department.

Then why are the being prepared for.

Sir, if you can give your view on this.

Thanks

Dear All,

As per 92E of IT Act, assessee who have made any international transaction (or specified domestic transaction) with associate enterprices during the FY, required to submit Transfer Pricing Report (known as Form 3CEB) before 30th November. AY 2013-14 onwards the same should filed online just like efiling of tax audit report. assessee has to appoint CA, then CA should make efiling using IT 'e' application and assessee has to approve the same.
