For appointing a new director having no DIN (after alloting a new din for him) both dir-3c and dir-12 filing is mandatory from company side?

MCA eForm DIR-3C is used for the Intimation of Director Identification Number (DIN) by the company to the Registrar of DIN services. ... Under these circumstances, every Director within a month from receipt of DIN from central Government will have to intimate their DIN to the companies they belong to.
