I have TDS deducted in FY 16-17 and I want to file ITR for the said year.
What is the procedure for filing condonation of delay request?
is it to be filed before filing ITR for FY 16-17 , or after filing ITR ?
You have to apply for condonation of delay first........ to your Jurisdictional JCIT/ ASK centre.
Once the request apprived,,,, you can file return online with reference no. of the approval.
It can be filed online. U can apply following procedure
1. Login to IT website
2.My account-Service request-New request-Condonation request
Condonation request (for filing ITR) is to be filed offline...
Yes, I also think it is to be filed offline, because when Im trying to file online request for condonation, it says 'No records found'
Yes, that online facility not started yet... May be planned for future......
But you will be able to file return online, after receiving approval.... which is intimated online.
