Dear all,
I am filing income tax return now for one of my clients. but penalty u/s 234f is not appearing in java utility. it is presumptive income and income is less that 2.5 lakhs
kindly suggest if something is wrong.

If Your GTI is less than BEL (2.5l before deduction of Cha VI-A) then penalty not applicable.
In Excel utility 234F is appearing under Interest and fee payable. Which ITR it is ?
if income (before chapter VI A ) does not exceed 250000/- (for senior citizen 3 lakhs) then you don't have to pay any penalty under 234F
