It may be a good news for us but how many clients are willing to pay according to these scales.

Agreed.
I myself file my and my family returns and the charge which my CA charges even i feel that is 25% higher since all statement recording ,dummy p/l statement for cross verification are done by myself.
And here the charge mentioned itself is 50% higher than what my CA charges.
Also how many percentage of people file return from self side.It some what becomes obligatory.If these charges in filing return are taken seriously than i feel ill better hire some article working a ca institute to file my return.

Thanks, this is useful information. Is there any thumb rule for charging internal audit fees based on turnover?
