how can we obtain FD interest certificate for FY 2021-22?

Go to bank get it . Else login to net banking and check the term deposits if FD/ TD are made online

Online there's no option for downloading FD interest certificate. it shows for savings A/C only.

Have you did the FD online or from bank ?

For fixed deposit you must go to bank and perform it.

If FD is made online then it is not required to visit the bank

I want a consolidated interest certificate for all the FDs. yes, it was made online. I am getting individual details not consolidated of all for current year.

If it is HDFC Bank then you have option to download consolidated interest details

Yes, it is HDFC. I could not find this option.

There is no such option under request option. interest certificate is for savings Account only not FD.

Go to bank and they will provide you. You can also download it from netbanking

Step 1: Visit https://netbanking.hdfcbank.com/netbanking/ and login to your bank account by entering user ID and password.

Step 2: Once logged into your account, select 'Enquire' on the left-hand side of the screen.

Step 3: Under the 'Enquire' tab, select 'TDS Enquiry' option. On your screen, three options will be shown: (a) Current Financial year, (b) Previous Financial year and (C) Download TDS certificate.

Step 4: Select 'Download TDS certificate' option and click on 'View'.

step 5: The web screen will show your PAN. From the drop down menu, select the financial year 2021-22 to download the TDS certificate for the last financial year. Further, you will be required to select the quarter (i.e., Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4) in which the TDS is likely to be deducted. If the tax is deducted in all the quarters then you have to select one quarter at one time and repeat the process from step 3 once again.

Step 6: Click on continue and confirm. A pop-up will appear on your web screen asking you to save the TDS certificate on to your system. If no tax has been deducted by the bank during the financial year, then the bank will ask you to select different quarter to download Form 16-A.
