Are Internet charges and email charges liable for FBT

For FBT there should be employer and employee relationship which cannt be there but at the same time if u are providing these facilities to an employee then FBT willbe applicable

These expenses are paid by the company to the internet provider then this is coming under the net of FBT. These expenses taxeble under the Telephone Expenses

Hi,

Two types are there, see the below which one is you adopted.

The Company will meet the expenditure for internet and email charges for in connection with telephone line means, it will cover under the FBT. u/s 115WB (2)(J).
The Company taken a leased line internet connection means it will not affected by the FBT under any case.

So which one is you taken.
