Dear Freind,
Please let me know whether we have to pay FBT on donation given to any instituation, school or Temple by company.

Donations are not subject to FBT. But, incase of any subsidy is being given to a school, then it attracts FBT.

Donations are not covered under the charging section of FBT and It is not subject to FBT.

Mr. M.SRIRAM - can u pl clerify and confirm how can subsidy given to a school come within the ambit of FBT...which clause under the Act does it attract?
