If father is senior citizen NRI. whether payment made towards his medical insurance premium is allowed 15000 or 20000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Please suggest as the Section 80D no where give any clue.

15,000 it seems..... because in 80D it is specified that a parent of a individual has to be a resident senior citizen for claiming 20000 deduction

80D is available only if insurance is taken with

Kindly refer to Explanation to Section 80D (4) and sub section 4 itself
For the purpose of this sub section "Senior Citizen" means an individual resident in India who is of the age of 65 years or more at any time during the P.Y.
It seems that when it comes to senior citizen (whether himself or parents), he should be a resident to calim deduction of Rs. 20000.

Additional deduction for Resident Senior Citizen u/s 80D
Therefore father is NRI then additional deduction of Rs. 5000 is not available to him

Beforehand,
NRI means he is not residing in india.
Policy should be brought in india, which has geographical locations within india.
if the payment is made to any overseas insurance , then no such benefit available under 80D
