My friend has completed CA in July and successfully completed 3 years of Articles. He is having subject knowledge and unfortunately not good in english. He searched a lot and finally got selected in an audit firm working for 15k PM.

Though he qualified having good exposure in work without proper communication seems to be not even equal to graduation.

Some of my friends who are chartered accountants with dummy articles getting very good amount, as they are very good in communication. They are in Big 4 audit firms and not in BPO or KPO working in very good profile

I can't understand this situation, where is the fault

There is no substitute for good communication skills. CA firm sells services like tax matter, audit, tax audit, return filing, and other misc services to its clients, and they do look for big clients. The firm will want to send out audit teams who are smart in talking to give a good impression.

Its never too late to learn, ask ur frnd to polish his communication skills, encourage him to talk in english, face its globalised economy, knowing the language is equally important

I would like to share my views on how to Improve English

To increase Vocabulary :

Read more and more, like newspaper, magazines, novels etc.

While reading any such material have practice to know exact meaning of each word rather only understanding meaning of the particular sentence. (for this keep dictionary with you, best online dictionaries are, dict.hinkhoj.com for English to Hindi, and gujaratilexicon.com for English to Gujarati)

To Improve Fluency in English :

Have Mirror Practice : Why mirror practice ? Because there is no fear of making mistakes as there is no one who is watching or listening you.
Give Attention to Speakers : Give attention and observe speakers, try to learn new words, see how they speak, on which words they give stress.
Speak in English : Do not hesitate or feel ashamed while speaking English, for this better to try to speak in English with your friends, relatives (close ones) here you will not fear in making mistakes as they will be your well wishers will support you in your goal rather laughing at you.

IMPROVING FLUENCY, COMMUNICATION IN ENGLISH IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT AS IT IS TO PASS CA EXAM, IF ONE CAN PASS CA EXAM, HE CAN DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING

MAKE IT YOUR PRIME GOAL AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED.
