fallen Leaves

Its autumn I guess
Every illusion
Every pretension
And many hopes
Are being shed off
Too easily

In bits and shards
The leaves were being teared off
And the skeleton of a tree stands
Leaves lay at its foot- like a regret

Over the leaves
morning sun shines in black and red circles
through the firmament of a ghost.
Over and over
the abiding bond is being asserted.

From morning through night
fallen leaves witness the altering vibes
And the tree patronises
in thousands of such alterations
(which the leaves regard with love)

A silent breeze strokes the leaves
and lifts them up in a whirl
The leaves swing, they laugh, before they die.
