If the article ship is going to extend by more than 6 months can we appear for ca final exams....

No, as far as I know you can appear for finals during the last 6 months of your articleship, if you are exceeding your leave quota, you have to consider that.
Suppose your articleship gets extension for 8 months, you shall be provisionally eligible to appear in exams only after 2 months, unless otherwise you are again on leave for 2 months.. Means, you are having 180 days more to serve (including excess).

as transfer of articleship is not permissible during last 6 months of articleship period, can i take extension for 6 months ?
