for materials which are procured from non excise dealers, you are right yo export under LUT, however u r eligible to claim duty drawback/DPEB as you are not enjoying input credit or rebate on these,
get in touch with you C&F agent for more clarified views.

You are a mafufacturer and your unit has produced copper cable and sheet metal products.
Your unit has Purchasing raw material for manufacturing the final product from excisable and non exciseable supplier. You are going to claim cenvat credit under rebate for both export.
You have done manufacturing activity at your unit, hence, non exciable material converted in exciable products and you have to pay the manufaturing duty i.e excise duty for your manufacturing final product, when its cleared to local market.
In this case you are eligiable to go rebate for both export.

Please correct if i am wrong..
1)Export goods/service without payment of duty/service tax means collect duty/service tax but no need to pay to Govt.
2)Export under Rebate scheme means Export on payment of duty, then claim refund of the same.
does this mean that exporter is enjoing duty of govt. as an incentive??
thanx fo reply..
