Essar issues FCCBs worth $ 280 m
Essar Shipping Ports & Logistics has announced that it issued foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs), aggregating $ 280 million.
The FCCBs will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading, the company said in a release issued here.
The issue comprises $ 150 million 5 per cent convertible bonds that can be converted into ordinary shares by 2015, and $ 130 million 5 per cent convertible bonds which can be converted into shares by 2017, the release added.
