Exemption on medical expenses
I underwent Gall Stone Pancreases surgery and paid Rs 7,00,000 to hospital for treatment. I am salaried employee and paid Rs 42,000 TDS. Please guide me whether I can get exemption from Tax for the Medical Expenses paid in FY 2015-16 and how to claim the exemption.
