I have cleared my Ist group long back and In November 2006 I have appeared for second group and I got exemption in Paper 5 Income tax & CST as per my understanding & confirm from other students the said exemption is available till May 2009, as May 2009 is the last exam for all old students.
Kindly clarify my doubt as I want to submit by exam form. Please reply asap.

As per my knowledge, an exemption is available only upto 3 subsequent attempts. e.g. if you get any exemption in any paper in Nov. 2006, then the same is available for May 2007, Nov. 2007 & May 2008 exams. If you still dont clear or do not appear for the exams the exemption period is lapsed.
