what is the rule for being exempted in a paper??

is it that i should score above 30 or 40 in other papers.......

no there is no relation with other subjects ..just for eg see this link

At least a score of 60 in a subject to be exempted from it.
Condition will be same, 40 each, and 50 aggregate.Either of condition not fulfilled, group gone.But a score of 60 or more in one or more , will be exempted for ur next attempt.
