And I cross the threshold limit of 20 Lakhs, Do I need to register in GST portal for filing returns.
According to me I need to get registered, am I right?

Yes Amrith, milk is not exempted, it is a Zero rated good. And since you are crossing the threshold limit, you should register and get GSTIN.
