exempted and non exempted goods
hi how to tax input while i am having taxable sales and exempted services. whether I have to take on proportionate basis. please explain.

you can go for proportionate basis or else you have to maintain invoice wise accounting where purchases related to exempt sales will be accounted separately and purchases related to taxable sales will be accounted separately.
