Exempted income need not to show in the ITR.
But if it is through agriculture income exceeding than u have to mention in the ITR:
* Agricultural Income upto 5000 - to be reported in ITR 1 or 4S
* Agricultural Income exceeding 5000 - to be reported in ITR 2 or 2A

If filing ITR1 from portal, there is an option to fill EI just above bank detaild. If you use the Excel/Java utility, in ITR2 there is a seperate tab to mention all these.

EI Schedule in ITR refers to exempt income. All the exempt income are to be disclosed in this schedule
