Dear Ajay,
THANKS for sharing valuable information .I am also intersted in SAP Certification.
In which module i should take training FI or CO or BOTH ?
Since you are IT Specialist,i would like to know what is the scope of CA with SAP FI / CO Module certification ( ofcourse from SAP Authorised Center ) in JAPAN .
I am proficient in Japanese Language, passed my JLPT Level 3.Will the knowledge of Japanese help me in gettting a break there ?
THANKS

Hello Kapil, I suggest you may do both FICO, since the scope of CA will be interelated in these modules. Japanese proficiency is definitely an advantage in getting the break since Japan is potentially one of the best country having ERP projects.

HI Ajay,
Really nice to read such inspiring words and guidance for ERP career for a CA...I am presently working in Oracle ERP Consulting for an IT Company...
I have been working here since past 2 years....but i feel that Finance is a more stable career as things are quite Certain........When you compare it with an ERP....there are many Technical things related to Codes and Coding which are complete Bouncers for a CA....also there are many connstant things which cannot be changed in an ERP according to the Client's needs...or the Client's Resistance......So it seems that FInance is a good career...
ON the Other hand, i also know that FInance is not so dynamic and interesting as ERP.....because finance and Figures become monotonous in some time.........and also that all of us know that Finance to some extent does not bring Business to the COmpany...Accounts...Audit.....etc
So please guide me as to what should be an ideal way to progress in my career....
Thanks,
Vinayak
