What is the treatment under central excise for Dies??? How credit is taken??
If Dies belonging to us are sent permanently to supplier then what should the excise treatment????

take cenvat credit when it is recd in the factory,and if it sent to job worker he should use them exclusive;y for mfr ,shall be according to the design,and production shall be on behalf of mfr then noneed to debit the cenvat ac

Dear Archana,
For Dies, if you receive in you co then you can take 50% CENVAT credit immediately. And anather 50% in next financial year. But if you send it to your supplier for job work then you have to brought back in you co one in a 180days.
