We have few doubts while filing Excise Return -1 in Excel Utility , Rate of duty to be filled in which place..? Under ad valorem duty or Specific Duty ..?

Specific Duty is applicable on petrol, diesel, cement, cigarettes etc. So please provide the detail of commodity or tarif item code so as to give you the relevant solution.

Traiff No : 73262090 , Product name : Steel Pallet & Steel Trolley, where to fill up Basic Excise duty ..? how can i fill up in Advalorem duty..? In ER 1 no field available for filling up BED..

Under Duty Head Column select "CENVAT" than enter rate of duty than click on add row and now select under Duty Head Column "Edu Cess" and similarly now again click on add row and under Duty Head column select "Sec. Edu. Cess" AND write the respective duty rate applicable in the Ad-Valorem against i.e 12.5, 2 & 1. Hope you are clear
