pls help me in a excise situation
my client manufactures pipes from some inputs. He also sell the inputs without manufactring it.
Pls tell me whether the sale of inputs without manufacturing is included in turnover of 4 crores for ssi exemption

If manufacturer is not able to use the inputs for any reason he can clear the inputs as such or after partial processing as such, from factory/premises after payent of an amount. The inputs can be removed as such from the factory of manufacturer on payment of an amount equal to cenvat credit availed when the credit was taken. As such removal of input will not be count in the SSI exemption limit.
