excise invoice rectification

Dear All

I have made an excise invoice from my factory, the same will have the factory address & divisions reference. The fatcory is at shimoga - Karnataka

At a later stage if i feel i have underinvoiced i raise a dr. note & the same is done from my head office which is at delhi.

Is this ok as per excise rules as all my credit notes & debit notes raised in relation to a particular sale are raised at H.O level with H.O address.
