17 January 2012Can any one tell me procedure of Excise E-Filling of quarterly return. I am in dealer category. after E-filling of return which print out we have to provide to excise dept in hard copy.

Dear Nilesh
Please note the below procedure:
1. First of all obtain the User ID and passowrd for e filing.
2. The excise webise is www.aces.gov.in on which you have to file the return.
3. There are two methods to file the return. First is Online and second is offline.
4. If your return is small in matrial then i would suggest to file it online, If it is large then use of excel utility for e-filing.
By using excel utility, a system generated file called a xml file will be generate and only you have to upload on webiste by using your user id and password.

Dear Sir
my ECC No is issued in 2001 , but un fortunately it is not in Excise dept website . and he reply me that you have to create new user. but if i create new user my ecc remain same or not ? and after creating new user which form i have to fill form A-1 OR A-2 OR A-3 ? i am adealer of industrial Electric Motor and gear box, I am just passing excise to customer.. please reply as eraly as possible.

visit your Range superintendent and communicarte your email to him, he will issue TPIN for login and password to be generated under your existing regn.
after successful generation of login and pwd you would be allowed to file return from ACES website.

Do we need to submit printout of return along with acknowledgement signed copy with Excise department?
