Excise duty on imported material

Hello

im planning to import raw material of plastic and then sell it in india

i wil have to pay customs duty

am I supposed to pay excise duty 

because I wil receive huge containers and I will sell few containers the way they are and for few I may repack and sell in small quantities

does these sales attract excise duty
