yes yiu can take refund or adjest in return period.
in case of Excess payment, you can always claim a refund. But a better option would be to self adjust the excess amount upto Rs 1 Lacs under rule 6 (4B) (iii) & give an intimation to the superitendent within 15days about the adjustment.
