Excess Credit Availed

Dear Sir,

We had taken CENVAT credit by double time for one payment.  At the time of CERA Audit it was found.  My question is whether we have to pay the tax or can we reverse the same against RG23A .  kindly explain what precedure we have to follow.  Because the value is huge.
