For a work like sculpture; a small mistake will bring down the "value" of the art. 

.

In music also; a small variation in any SWAR will make it non-acceptable when it is a matter of competition.

In profession also; many times a small mistake in law formation may cost certain thousand crores of rupees. 

.

The live example : THE CASE OF VODAFONE !

Otherwise; one should not take care of small mistakes which are not material.
