In XLtool there is very simple steps to import Excel data in Tally application.
Download the latest software at - www.xltally.in
Follow these steps for import vouchers from Excel to Tally-
- First enable ODBC port in Tally application.
- Open one Tally application & open only one company.
- In XLTOOL software fillup the data in appropriate voucher template.
- Open MY MENU by F1 Key.
- click START button.
- Data will be imported in Tally.
- If any errors occurred see the details on REPORT template.
- Read software in-built HELP template for more details.
- If any Error then you can get alert in software REPORT template.
- Rectify the errors and process same steps

i am usening this
but i am unable to import stock item from tally.
stock item not shown in selection box. while generating X M L file getting Error"LEDGER NAME AT CELL F3 IS INCORRECT OR YOU HAVEN'T CREATED & IMPORTED IT FROM TALLY. SEE Q.1 IN HELP SHEET TO KNOW HOW TO IMPORT LEDGER FROM "

Import data from excel to Tally using udi-Magic Software.
- Start Tally ERP and Open a Company.
- Start udi-Magic software
- Select the option Excel to Tally > Import data into Tally
- Click the Browse button and select Standard Excel template (for attendance) provided with udi-Magic converter
- Click the Start button

Hi Raj ,
I used utility software for a year.(excel_tally).Its too good.but rightnow I am facing problem due to cgst & sgst.(Two no of taxes).The utility is limited to FIVE Amount columns while Now due to gst I require SIX Amount columns.Is the utility modified for the same or in progress ? Can I add ONE Amount column in utility ?HOW ? It will be very helpful to me.
